Enterprise automotive product experience
CarVu brought online vehicle buying and selling, public and dealer auctions, role-based dealer workflows, and platform administration into one connected product landscape.

Vehicle buying and selling, public auctions, dealer-only auctions, dealer operations, and SaaS administration each create a distinct set of users, decisions, and rules. Treating them as isolated tools would move complexity onto the people using the platform.
The product challenge was to make those experiences feel connected while preserving the boundaries each workflow requires. A buyer should not face dealer operations. A dealer user should not inherit unrestricted platform control. An administrator needs governance across the system without becoming part of every transaction.
02 · Users and roles
Customer-facing journeys for discovering, presenting, buying, and selling vehicles online.
Role-based operational access for teams handling vehicles, activity, auctions, and day-to-day decisions.
Distinct public and dealer auction experiences shaped around eligibility, lots, bids, and outcomes.
Central control over the wider SaaS environment, its users, permissions, workflows, and governance.
03 · Connected workflow
The product model connects the record, rules, roles, and platform control behind each step.
Vehicle information becomes a reusable record for marketplace, dealer, and auction activity.
Buying, selling, public auction, and dealer-only auction journeys follow their own rules and participants.
Dealer users work through role-aware dashboards instead of sharing one unrestricted operational view.
Super-admin tools provide the control required to operate a complex platform above individual users and dealers.
04 · Product landscape
This representative capability map explains the connected product shape. It is an original diagram, not a CarVu interface screenshot.
05 · What the experience covered
Connected customer journeys that treat vehicle discovery and transactions as part of a wider product workflow.
Separate auction contexts for different audiences, access rules, bidding behavior, and operational oversight.
Complex permissions and working views shaped around what each dealer role needs to see and do.
A higher-level administrative experience for managing the SaaS product and its operational structure.
06 · Technical depth
No technology stack or implementation detail is published here without approval. These are the product-engineering concerns demonstrated by the known scope.
Permissions affect navigation, data visibility, allowed actions, and ownership. They must be modelled as part of the product—not attached at the end.
Lots, participation, bids, timing, and outcomes create state transitions that need clear rules and auditable behavior.
Marketplace, dealer, and auction experiences depend on consistent vehicle information while exposing different actions to different users.
Operating a SaaS platform requires workflows for governance and support—not simply a larger version of the dealer dashboard.
07 · What this experience proves
No unapproved performance figures or client claims are used in this case study.
Experience spanning the public product, dealer operation, auction mechanics, and platform-level control.
A practical understanding of how responsibilities and permissions reshape the interface and the underlying system.
Product decisions grounded in vehicles, trading, auctions, dealers, and the teams operating behind the customer journey.
